Hi, I'm a single 24 y/o mom of a wonderful 7-month yr. old daughter. I'm going to college full time online and thought I was doing everything right. I recieve Calworks benefits but this month they cut me off because they claimed they didn't have a copy of my daughter's social security card. If I would of known that, they would of had it. They didn't even send me anything in the mail telling me they needed it or they were going to take my money away. So I go to pay my rent and bills and there's no money. So I'm appealing thier decision and starting another case but it could take up to 45 days and I'm so stressed out about all this because even though I still get financial aid, I can't use that to live off of and pay for my books for this semester. I want to continue going to college this semester but unless I find financial help from somewhere I'm not going to be able to. Any ideas, advice, etc. would be great! Thanks
